Airlines Drinking Water Testing Mandated (USEPA Oct 5th 2009)
In 2009, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published the final
National Primary Drinking Water Regulations (NPDWRs) for Aircraft
Public Water Systems under the safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA). The
Aircraft Drinking Water Rule (ADWR) is tailored to the unique
operational characteristics of aircraft water systems and will ensure
that safe and reliable drinking water is provided to aircraft
passengers and crew.
